by Golf Digest for 2003-2004.

 

Ponce de Leon is an 18-hole Championship Golf Course. In 2003, Golf DigestPonce de Leon Golf Course ranked the Ponce de Leon Golf Course the 5th best in Arkansas.  Ponce de Leon Golf Course is known by resident golfers as the "long and hilly." The par-72 course opened in 1991 and measures back tees at 6,946 yards with the forward tees in at 5,273 yards.

 

Facilities include a golf shop, cart storage, putting green, chipping green with bunker, driving range, and restaurant.

 

The facility was the 5th course to open in Hot Springs Village. 

 

Ranked 3rd in the top ten Arkansas courses, it continues to challenge.

 

Ponce de Leon  hosts approximately 50,000 property owner and visitor golfers annually.

 

Many local charity tournaments and golf association events are played here. Enjoy a drink and dining on the veranda of Danny's at Ponce restaurant and then be sure to make another tee time. All courses provide computers to request specific courses and timeframes.

 

The Ponce de Leon Course is located off DeSoto Boulevard in the eastern section of Hot Springs Village.

 

Ponce de Leon was designed by Ault, Clark, and Associates.

Full service bar available.

 

Breakfast features a complete menu to choose from. Specialty is omelets.

Lunch and Dinner includes hamburgers, salads, steak, seafood, sandwiches, and daily specials including jambalaya and grilled pork chops. Specialty is Shrimp and Corn Soup which is served daily.

Dishes have a definite south Louisiana flare. 

 

Patio dining is available.
