| Granada opened Labor Day 2004
and will prove to be the most challenging of the POA golf
courses. Tighter than Isabella, Granada will offer the most
panoramic views available, as well as a variety of terrain.
The Granada Course is located off Maderas Drive in
the east end of Hot Springs Village.
Granada is designed by Ault, Clark, and
Associates.

The new Granada Golf Course in
Hot Springs Village, Arkansas promises to be one of the most
spectacular yet! “The terrain is some of the most challenging
we’ve had to deal with in the Village, but it is
creating some of the most challenging and visual holes
anywhere,” states Clark, who has been the Golf Course Architect
for the last 21 courses for Cooper Communities.
We’ve incorporated many unique
design elements into the final product including waste bunkers, a
double green, native/wildflower areas, and a cascading waterfall
complex on Hole No. 18. We have our usual 5-tee system, the addition
of four new lakes plus Lake Granada, which comes into play on Hole
No. 8. The course stretches to over 7,115 to 5,014 yards and plays
to a par 72. A large practice range with a chipping and putting
complex round out the support features.
