in 1995, this course is currently ranked #4 in Arkansas by
Golf Digest for 2003-2004.
In 1996, Diamante
was named the Best Maintained.
Diamante is also a member of the
Nationwide First Tee Arkansas
Classic Golf Tournament.
Diamante is a
private membership golf club located within Hot Springs
Village. Diamante golf course is one of the most
challenging and flexible golf courses ever built. With
fives sets of tees, players can choose from the back tees at
7,458 yards or the front tees at 5,282 yards.
The course is a
Par 72 Championship course with fairways lined with trees,
natural rolling terrain, sodded zoysia fairways, and large
multi tiered bent grass greens averaging 6,500 feet.
Diamante
averages 30,000 rounds a year, and has hosted the Nationwide
Tour for the past three years. Diamante has the distinction of
being the longest course the tour has ever played.
Diamante was
selected as the 4th Best New Private Course in 1995 by Golf
Digest. The most beautiful shot at Diamante is the
par-3, number seven, a long carry over water from an elevated
tee to an elevated green.
The Diamante
Clubhouse features a swimming pool, four clay tennis courts
with lights, full service lounge, restaurant, and locker
facilities.
