DeSoto Golf Course was the first course built here and opened in
1972. In 2001 the course and clubhouse were updated with a $1
million renovation.
The course plays 6,733 yards and 5,562 yards
from the back and forward tees respectively and is a par-72 layout.
Beautiful and stately the course sports bent grass greens and Bermuda
fairways.
Facilities include a golf shop,
cart storage, putting green, driving range, lounge, and full-service
restaurant.
DeSoto hosts approximately 50,000
property owners and visitor golfers annually.
Many charity tournaments and golf association events are held here.
The complex houses a pro shop, the 19th Hole Restaurant and Club
Pegasus @ DeSoto, offering a fine dining restaurant with space
available for private parties and meetings.
The DeSoto Course is located off
DeSoto Boulevard in the western section of Hot Springs Village.
DeSoto was designed by Ault,
Clark, and Associates.
